Bern Cantonal Bank BEKB
Company reporting 2016–2019
Stämpfli Communication once again drew up the four-year plan for company reporting for Berner Kantonalbank. The new print publications for corporate communication comprise the annual report, the sustainability report, the short report, the disclosure report and the half-year report. In addition, a folder was also produced on submission of the annual report and the sustainability report.
Dreams as the design concept
The existing color and typography concept was expanded by adding further elements, however, Stämpfli Communication designed and implemented a new image-based layout from scratch.
Employees, customers, partners and stockholders put their trust in BEKB every day, no matter whether they need a stable staff pension fund for carefree retirement or solid training to get off to a good start in the financial sector. As part of the new design concept, a wide variety of people talk about their lifelong dreams and how they make them a reality with suitable banking services.
Dreams make up the overriding idea portrayed in the images and serve as the framework for BEKB’s entire company reporting, in which stories are dramatically divided up into multi-step narratives. An initial arrangement of private objects symbolizing a lifelong dream appears on the cover page. As with a puzzle, the individual subjects arouse interest in the overall picture. It is not until the second step in the narrative that the reader finds out whose dream is realized with the help of BEKB. A portrait photo and personal stories round out the drama in the storyline.
