Between the two lakes
In early 2018, the destination magazine of the Interlaken vacation region received a major make-over. The magazine changed its name from “Here&Now” to “BergwieSee”. It addresses both visitors and local residents around Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. “BergwieSee” is published four times a year (seasonal editions) in German only.
Diversity and uniqueness
Stämpfli Communications had already developed a successful contents and design concept for “Here&Now”, dividing the magazine into several sections to showcase the diversity and uniqueness of the region and inspiring readers by providing valuable tips. The existing concept required only a few changes and was easily adapted to “BergwieSee”. The bold design with its contemporary look and feel creates space to optimally showcase this unique region.

Appeal and added values
Design ideas such as coupons placed in the heart of the magazine create clearly visible added values for readers and advertisers alike which in turn increase the magazine’s appeal. Custom-created pictograms complete the holistic design concept and ensure a self-explanatory communication experience independent of the reader’s language.
